I obtained my bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Faculty of Science in 1986, then completed my postgraduate studies and obtained a master's degree from India in 1995. In 2004, I obtained my doctorate degree from Egypt in the field of polymer chemistry. I was appointed at Al-Balqa Applied University in 2004 with the rank of lecturer A. I was promoted in 2007 to assistant professor, then I was promoted to associate professor in 2012. During my work at the university, I taught many different chemistry courses and published many research papers in my field of specialization. During my work at the university, I held some administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Basic Sciences and Dean of Zarqa University College

Research Interest:
* Modification of Humic Acid by Grafting Copolymerization with Methylmethacrylate
This work sported by Applied Balqa University and to be completed.
* Synthesis of ion imprinted polymer by using radiation induced technique (gamma rays) and their application in the separation of different rare toxic metal ions (i.e. UO2, CO, Ni,La) from solutions.
* Grafting and preparing copolymer of (low density polyethylene / LDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) with different monomers acrylic acid, (AAc) , acyrlamide (AAm), arcylonitrile (AN) by using radiation induced grafting technique (gamma rays) and their application in the separation of toxic metal ions (i.e. pb, Sr, Cd) from solutions.
* Preparing reactive polyethylene (PE) pellets by radiation induced grafting technique (gamma rays) and using these pellets for the separation of different heavy metals (i.e. Hg, Ag ) from their solution.
* preparing of copolymer metal membrane films of polyethylene (PE) and vinyl acetate monomer by radiation induced grafting technique (gamma rays) and further using these films in metal ion separation (i.e. Li, Hg, Au)
